Jacob Ssekitto is a purpose-driven professional at the intersection of protection, intelligence, and human rights. With training in Security and Investigation and a record of frontline humanitarian service, Jacob is committed to shaping systems that are secure, just, inclusive, and future-ready.
Jacob’s journey began in grassroots refugee advocacy, working alongside international NGOs including REFcea, ORAM, COSIR, and ACCKWA. This work gave him hands-on expertise in stakeholder engagement, emergency response, inclusive policy support, and public safety communications.
He is a continuous learner in the evolving domains of fraud intelligence, human trafficking prevention, and AI for public safety, with a vision to lead the development of next-generation strategies that protect vulnerable populations and strengthen global systems.
As Founder, Jacob leads the development of ObserIQ, Canada’s first AI-powered fraud intelligence platform focused on forecasting emerging scams before they spread. He drives the early MVP, “Scam Analyzer,” which uses OSINT, data signals, and behavioural patterns to detect potential fraud trends in real time.
